For many living with disabilities, homes often aren't built with them in mind. A narrow hallway, steps at the front door, a bathroom without a grab bar… these small details can turn everyday life into a daily obstacle course. Thoughtful design can change that, and the lessons learned from building for this community have a lot to teach anyone interested in creating spaces that work for real people, at every stage of life.
